Arya Samaj London is a Charitable Organisation situated at 69a Argyle Road, West Ealing, London. It moved to this site in 1977. The building was purchased and renovated by the efforts of the then President the Late Professor Surendra Nath Bharadwaj and his devoted colleagues.
The main objects of Arya Samaj are the advancement of Vedic Dharma and to provide a central place of worship with a Resident Priest for performing religious ceremonies and to disseminate the teaching of the Vedas. Ignorance ought to be dispelled and knowledge disseminated (8th Principle of Arya Samaj)
The 6th Principle of Arya Samaj states: The prime object of Arya Samaj is to do good to the world: to ameliorate physical, spiritual and social conditions of all men.
Arya Samaj preaches that there is only One God. God is Omnipresent, Omniscient, Almighty and Formless. God cannot be represented by idols and therefore Arya Samaj does not advocate idol worship OM (AUM) is the name of God and all should worship Him.
